Akshay Kumar Still Loves Action Movies

In the press meet, actor Akshay Kumar says that he is interested to do serious roles. Akshay Kumar started his career with action film ‘Saugandh’. Later, his action films like ‘Khiladi’, ‘Sangharsh’, ‘Ajnabee’ and ‘Aakhein’ were failed at box office.

Akshay Kumar has become famous with comedy films. The actor started his first comedy movie with Priyadarshan’s ‘Heri Pheri’, which was a blockbuster in the year 2000.

Akshay Kumar has worked in the comedy films like ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ in 2004, ‘Garam Masala’ and ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’ in the year 2005. Akshay Kumar is expertise in handling comedy roles and there were four super hit movies of him in the year 2007.

Akshay Kumar came with an action film ‘Blue’ in 2009, which was also a failure at box office. The actor says that he did not stop taking up roles in action movies but he is just concerned for good role.
Akshay Kumar is currently busy in promoting his upcoming comedy movie ‘Khatta Meetha’, Priyadarshan is the director for this film. Akshay Kumar and Trisha are the main lead roles. The movie is set for its release on July 23, 2010.
