Shahrukh Khan as Awadh King

Bollywood actor, Shahrukh Khan is all set to play the role of Awadh King. Recently there was news that Paris based Indian filmmaker, Vijay Singh has a plan to make film based on the Nawab of Awadh King, Naseeruddin Haidar.

According to the sources, Shahrukh Khan has agreed to do the role. Earlier, Shahrukh Khan was seen as an emperor in the film ‘Ashoka’. Vijay Singh feels that Shahrukh Khan is fit for the role and he approached Shahrukh Khan for the role.

Vijay Singh says that this movie is the love story between Nawab Naseeruddin and a British girl. The director says that as Shahrukh Khan liked the script and agreed to play the role, Singh plans to explain about the full-fledged role of Nawab who ruled Awadh from 1826- 1836.
