Shahrukh Khan Rejected to play the role of Lalit Modi in ‘Commissioner’

Percept Picture Company is in plan to make a movie based on the life history of Indian Premiere League chairman, Lalit Modi. Bollywood actor, Shahrukh Khan was asked to play the role of Lalit Modi. But, Shahrukh Khan has rejected to do the role.

This new movie is titled as ‘Commissioner’. Shahrukh Khan doesn’t want to be in any controversy as he is also one of the team owners in IPL. Shahrukh Khan has rejected to do the role even after Lalit Modi himself asked to take up the role.

According to the latest news, Ajay Devgan has confirmed for the role. Madhur Bhandarkar was approached for directing the movie. But, he too didn’t want to handle this controversial project. Finally, Shamin Desai has been finalized as the director for this film.
