Ram Gopal Varma gets Death Threat for ‘Rakta Charitra’

The film maker, Ram Gopal Varma is facing many problems from the day he started working with the movie ‘Rakta Charitra’. Ram Gopal Varma is making this film based on the real life story of the leader, Paritala Ravi.

Initially, the family of Obul Reddy has filed a lawsuit against Ram Gopal Varma for showing the character of Obul Reddy in a negative way. The character of Obul Reddy was played by the actor, Abhimanyu Singh in the movie.

The sources close to the film maker says that some of the followers of Obul Reddy have given death threat warnings to Ram Gopal Varma if he was portraying Obul Reddy’s character in a negative manner.

Ram Gopal Varma has confirmed the threats news. He also says that he is getting some threatening messages and calls. Varma plans to release this film in two parts at a time in the month of October, the second part will be released a few weeks later the release of first part. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. Vivek Oberoi, Surya, Radhika Apte and Priyamani are the lead roles in the film.
