Lisa Ray Talks On Struggle Against Cancer

Bollywood actress, Lisa Ray spoke about her cancer. The actress has taken multiple myeloma on 23 June 2009 and started her first cycle of treatment for cancer on 2 July 2009. Lisa Ray has announced on April 2010 that she is free from cancer and is looking to start a new life.

Recently, the actress was seen in a newly opened cancer treatment center. In the inauguration centre, Lisa Ray has given a speech about her struggle against the disease.

Talking about the news, the actress says, “Cancer is not just a physiological disorder. It has a strong psychological component to it.”
