Mahalaya Amavasya or Pitru Amavasya will be seen on the No Moon Day at Mahalaya Paksha Shraddh day. It is said that Amavasya will begin on October 7, 2010 at 3:49 AM and ends at 12:15 AM on October 8, 2010.

It is of a total of 14 days in which the ancestors will be remembered and worshiped. Mahalaya will be seen just 7 days before the Durga Puja. Now, you can get the Mantras and bhajans, which are sung by Birendra Krishna Bhadra. You can get these songs to invoke the grace of Goddess Durga.
